Wanted fire extinguishers

1. SCOPE OF WORK

The Contractor shall supply new, NFPA-compliant uote, in accordance with the quantities and specifications listed below.

This SOW covers supply only. Installation and commissioning will be carried out by the Hotel's.

2. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

All extinguishers supplied shall be fully compliant with NFPA 10 (Portable Fire Extinguishers) requirements.

2.1 General Requirements (Applicable to All Extinguishers)

Each extinguisher must have the following information permanently and clearly marked on the cylinder body:

1. Manufacturing Date (Month/Year)- as required for NFPA 10 lifecycle tracking.

2. Hydrostatic Test Information, including:

o Service Pressure o Test Pressure

o Proof of the last hydrostatic test (certified marking, stamp, or manufacturer label).

3. Operating Instructions in clear English.

4. Manufacturer identification, make and model reference.

5. Extinguishers must be brand-new, less than 12 months from manufacturing date i.e 2026. All extinguishers must include:

• Safety pin and tamper seal

• Pressure gauge (for DCP types) compliant with NFPA color coding

• Wall mounting bracket

2.2 Extinguisher Quantities & Types

A. Dry Chemical Powder (DCP) - 2 kg

Quantity : 50 units

• Must include the date of manufacture (MM/YYYY) and make

• Must display Service Pressure & Hydrostatic Test Pressure on body

• Agent: ABC multipurpose powder

• Compliant with NFPA 10 and EN 3

B. Dry Chemical Powder (DCP) - 9 kg

3. SUPPLIER RESPONSIBILITIES

3.1 Product Approvals & Documentation

Prior to delivery, the Contractor shall submit:

, Certificates of conformity

, Hydrostatic test certificates

3.2 Material Quality

All extinguishers must:

, Be new, unused, and manufactured within the last 12 months

, Comply with NFPA 10 and Nigerian regulatory requirements

, Carry full traceability (batch, serial number, manufacture date)

3 Warranty

Supplier shall provide:

• Minimum 12-month warranty on all supplied extinguishers

• Free replacement of any defective or non-compliant units
